"The room was clean and we had a great view from our balcony of the port. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good value and plenty was on offer. One negative was that the bar drinks and food were overpriced. €7.50 for a small Fanta or Coke and a litre bottle of water was €5. There are plenty of bars nearby so best get your drinks there as it’s much cheaper."

"Very clean room. Perfect location that is very close walking distance to everything like sights/restaurants in Palermo. We were here during a heat wave and after our stay in Palermo, we visited two different five star hotels in other locations. The air conditioning at this stay in Palermo was by far the best and kept us very cool after walking around quite a lot. We kept wishing our other hotels had an AC that worked as great as it did here! It was amazing for a cool break in between activities in town and with how central the location is , it made for a great trip to Palermo!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ambiasciatore. The room was huge, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wonderful view. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel is located within reasonable walking distance of most of the Palermo sights. The street outside was busy, but we didn't notice the noise in our room. There is also a great pizza and cocktail place, Crash, right around the corner."
