/sauna, a nursery, and so much more. We only stayed one night in one of the cabins and it was excellent. You can hear the rains and the forest sounds right outside your window. The people there were also so friendly, inviting, and warm. "

"This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. Isaac Hale Park is within walking distance and although the beach isn’t very safe for swimming there is a pond there that you can swim in. The accommodations are primitive and like camping but Mango Cabin was very spacious and the beds were VERY comfy. It is off-grid but there is electricity to the cabins. The cabins...

"We stayed in one of three chalets/cabins on the property: They are very well situated for exploring the area and right across the road from the black sand Kehena Beach. The owners were very responsive and also assisted with tips on what to do. The hot pools at a beach nearby are worth a visit, as is the newly formed black sand beach in the other direction. There is a very well stocked small grocery store about 5 minutes drive away. Well situated for a visit to the Hawaiian National Volcanoes...
