"I went to Limpley Stoke Hotel for my son's wedding. They arranged for it at the hotel about 14 weeks ago. The venue was excellent and the wedding, breakfast and evening party went flawlessly. The food was tasty, hot and plentiful. The bar and outside terrace was great, plenty of room to move around, everyone really enjoyed themselves. "We stayed for 1 night as we had a flight from Bristol at 6am so we didn't make much use if the hotel, such as the breakfast. Check in was easy and it was easy to leave at 3am, if you're looking for a nice hotel nit to far from the airport. "The hotel was a great experience, the room was clean and tidy with the staff being friendly. The breakfast was better than any of the ones we had in the town with local sausages and attentive service. Don’t forget to try a little of the salt rub in the main lounge, not sure if it’s home made or bought in but my skin felt incredible after. Would highly recommend."

When we had to unexpectedly check out late, they accommodated us for 2 more hours at no extra cost. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. One thing I never like is that one side of the double bed is against the wall so getting up in the middle of the night is really difficult for the person sleeping on that side. Also the bathroom is in the bedroom and is separated by frosted glass. So you can hear everything going on in there(!) The location was fantastic. Couldn't be better. Breakfast was good."

"I was left somewhat frustrated to pay £16 per head for breakfast for 3 people - total £48. I ordered the larger cooked breakfast and was then asked to pay an extra £6. The bigger breakfast had an egg and a pice of black pudding. This has left a negative feeling of what was an otherwise excellent stay at the hotel."
