"From arrival staff we found staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. On departure they went above and beyond in helping us to get the local bus to the train station, due to an unexpected taxi driver strike. Front of house went above and beyond. Will definitely stay again at Hotel David "

Great gelato place right at the hotel. Location couldn't be better. Right next to Ponte Vecchio and walkable to all key attractions"

"This is a great bargain in Florence, terrific location. Part of the Hotel La Scaletta, a 4 star hotel, across the street. Not 4 star itself, but very comfortable and well maintained, with great service. Would recommend it to anyone spending time in Florence. That side of the Arno, the Oltrano, is a welcome break from the craziness across the river!"

"Incredible off-season stay. The breakfast each morning was incredible. So much better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was amazing. The Villa itself is a renovated Renaissance property and all around are little reminders of its glorious past. We were too early for the pool (starts in June) but I have a feeling that’s why we got such a great deal. The views from the decks are incredible and it’s close to Florence. The roads are windy and narrow, so be careful! But one of the roads down from the Villa revealed a spectacular view of Florence. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Would gladly return. "
