"We stayed here on our trip to Amsterdam and we love this hotel! The hotel itself is very quaint and nice size rooms and maintains the historical feel and theme of the city. The best part of the hotel is the staff! The hospitality and service at this hotel is top notch, they are so attentive and nice. Vincent and his staff are amazing we would definitely come stay here again."

"Extremely friendly staff!! Excellent breakfast. Rooms are small but functional and beautifully decorated. Parking is not available but hotel staff pointed out several options. The tram stops right in front of it. We traveled as a family and booked two rooms for five. Location is fantastic! Museums, city center and park all walkable. I would definitely book again"

"Generally a nice place with helpful staff. But our room, while off the street, still ended up being noisy in the morning as it opened on the area where housekeeping and maintenance worked. Also, housekeepjng perhaps needs closer supervision: room was clean, service quick and efficient, but there were odd things like the duvet cover being out on inside out and the small pillowcase on the big pillow and vice versa. No big deal, but a puzzle."

We were made to feel really welcome and we were given lots of local recommendations. "Backstage Hotel provides a unique experience. Customer service was excellent. The musical themes throughout the hotel will bring you back to your past memories . The only down side I could see, would be the stairs being narrow and steep, although we had assistance with our bags. Wasn’t an issue with our stay."

The staff were welcoming, and struck great conversation with guests when passing each other in corridors which gave the stay a personal feel. "Location location Location!! Close to dining , shopping, canal cruise, tour operators and tram. The room was basic but we were satisfied and happy clean 😊 ☺ no bed bugs and tye blond lady receptionist was excellent. Three ladies in one room mostly out all day so we had comfy sleep. "Everywhere was clean, no problems there. It was a minimalist room with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There was an area as part of the hotel to get food and drink at the appropriate times which was simple.
