"The wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We felt that we were staying in a palace. The workers were dressed in attire from medieval times. The decor was of medieval times. They include a breakfast buffet fit for a king. The staff was extremely friendly. We arrived late in the evening and a gentleman went out to a nearby restaurant to ask if they could accommodate us as it was 1/2 hour before closing times. He came back and told us if we hurried over they would accommodate us....

"Inn was nice, but room was small. If staying here recommend you not bring anything larger than an overnight bag as cars cannot access the location. We had been traveling for 3 weeks and had larger bags. Our Uber driver dropped us off outside the walls and we had a 10-minute walk uphill over cobble stones dragging bags. But the woman who was on duty the next morning was very helpful and arranged for a taxi and the driver walked up to the inn and carried our bags down to his car. It was expensive...

"A very unique stay within a walled town takes you back in time. The room was very small but authentic to the times, with thin walls (hear all the hallway noise). Very helpful staff. Parking outside the walls of the castle is very close and inexpensive. Great selection of restaurants. "
