As I was leaving they gave me a little origami pig as a good luck charm - very sweet. I was in a mixed shared room which was very clean and comfortable. The facilities were great, with showers, a laundry room and a private bathtub which you could rent for an additional ¥300. The hostel is conveniently located near to many shrines...

"初めて部屋に入った時は、とても広く設備が揃っていて好印象でした。 しかし、清掃が細部までされておらず、正直不快でした。特に酷かったのがお風呂で、敷いてあった簀子の下の床の清掃が全くされておらず、気持ち悪かったです。湯船のお湯を抜くと、排水が詰まって床に溜まり、挙げ句の果てには洗面所まで浸水して散々でした。 和室には敷いてあった布団の他に、タンスの中に布団が入っていましたが、くしゃくしゃに丸められていました。また、前の人のヘアゴムが置いてあったりと、とにかく不快ポイントが高かったです。笑ってしまうほど。 ものは充実している旅館だっただけに、とても残念でした。"

We got the four semi-double bed room upstairs and it was so large - two separate bedrooms. a nice living and dining room area and then a separate traditional tatami room with low tables for dining or games or just sitting around to talk and spend time with each other. The bathroom suite with the modern jacuzzi deep tub was amazing - it may be the biggest room in the entire place. "Loved that the room was extremely spacious and clean and that the beds were very comfortable. However it was very cold in the room with not much insulation so we definitely had to layer up to stay warm even with the heater on. "

"Excellent apartment for an adult family of 5. Very spacious for Japan. Mats on floor were comfortable and used couch as another bed. Doubles in a separate room were very comfortable. Double sink bathroom with separate shower/tub and toilet was very convenient for all of us. Great new space. "
