"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "Check in was quick. The front desk was extremely helpful when needed (for an extra towel). Hotel was very clean and well kept upon entering and in the rooms. Location was perfect for a very quick walk to Times Square, Hells Kitchen, and many other areas of interest. Coffee/cafe right outside of the entrance, as well. Only issue was the elevator service. Mornings (checkout time) both days there were only two of four elevators in service...eventually leading to the14 floor hike down. "
