"From the moment we arrived and were each handed a glass of wonderful Port wine, my wife and I both felt pampered and well taken care of. Our hotel room overlooked the river, clear to the other side. This provided lovely night lit views. Breakfast was wonderful. There were restaurants within an easy walk. The main city plaza was not far away, so we had many walks there. The hotel restaurant itself was just incredible. My wife and I have eaten in many top restaurants around the world, and the hotel restaurant ranks among the best. Additionally, we were there for a conference at the nearby convention center. It is such an easy quick walk, that this is a great location, should you need to attend an event there."

"This is a 4 star hotel. Claims to be a 5 starts, but it has no swimming pool (has a jacuzzi a non working sauna and overheated steam room), there is no food past midnight! (they recommend you go to Macdonals down the road) toilets have slight swage smell and the sink has hot water only in the morning, shower is good tho... no direct line to reception and you can hear noise from the rooms next door. Gym has no windows, Breakfast is decent (except Sundays where they stock a lot less, for some reason) Overall, it is 4 stars. Good AC in the room, bed is confortable and good location."
