"Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant"

"Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend"

"Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!"

"Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire"

"Great place, delicious food and excellent location."

"Robin at reception was a true gem and the best part about the hotel. After her showing us to our room it all went downhill sadly. Told us what soup was available after I'd mentioned a week of Puree'd soup in Scotland had not been good... what soup did I get, puree'd veg after...

"This is a place that has been designed to make you feel at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated with colorful fabrics and interesting decorations. The pub is dog and human friendly and is a popular spot for locals. Jack, the Bernese Mountain dog is regularly present as he belongs to Kenny, one of the owners. Kenny and staff have put together an eclectic playlist of songs that are ever present in the background but not so loud as to interfere with conversation. The entire staff works hard to...

"Fabulous pub. Super modern clean room outside the main pub. Food delicious at dinner and breakfast and simply lovely staff! What a location just across from the station and in the middle of the 3 peaks. Outstanding!"
