"The food at every restaurant was surprisingly good. We spend most of our time at the swim up bar where the bartenders were awesome. Overall, the staff was awesome everywhere. Definitely worth the trip!"

"This was a great vacation getaway. The property is a little outdated and the food is just ok. We ventured over to the Dreams resort and the Brazilian steakhouse was amazing! I will say the Dreams resort seemed nicer and had options I felt would have been more appreciated at the adults only Secrets location. The staff was amazing and attended to your every need!!! I will say staff at all the Secrets resorts I have visited have been amazing. Shout out to Thomas the golf cart driver he made the golf cart ride fun!!! Overall it’s a nice resort. "

"We spent 5 nights in May at the RIU Dunamar. We really liked this RIU! The food at the specialty restaurants was better than the buffet. It was nice not having to make reservations. We got to the restaurants shortly after they opened and had no problem getting a table. Our favorites were the Steak, Asian and Italian. The waterpark on site is really fun! It is close to the pools, so it was very convenient to walk over a couple of times each day and use the slides. The pools were very warm and if you sat at chairs by the pool it was hot. The ocean was the perfect temperature and you had a nice breeze when you used those chairs. The beach is great to walk on and swim in with very little seaweed. My only complaint like other reviewers mentioned, is when you walked along the beach there was feces that had washed up along the shoreline. We walked quite awhile and would see it in different areas along the beach. I have no idea where it came from, maybe a bad sewer somewhere? The waves were really high most of the days we were there, but you could still go in the water and swim and jump in the waves which was a lot of fun. They would have servers come along the chairs on the beach a say hey would you like to try this drink or can I get you a drink. The service was always great at the bars too! We went to most of the evening shows they were entertaining. We loved the White Party on Wednesday night. I recommend going to this or the Neon party depending on which week you are there. "

"This was our 5th time at this resort in the last 3 years and we pleasantly continue to enjoy it very much. Specifically, the customer service. There was one person, Angel, who is a manager at the surf and turf and steakhouse restaurants that made our trip extra special as he came up to us and recognized us from our last trip. He made my wife and my daughter feel like special guests and that was very well remembered as a special moment by our family. We also got great service from Leonardo at the steakhouse and Damian at the morning breakfast. Love this resort. Would definitely come back again. "
