"Staff were great. Hotel is one of the cheaper options in town, but is a great location . On the edge of town, so easy to get in and out without hitting bar harbor traffic, but close enough to walk anywhere . Restaurants near by were great, namely salsa Verde grill. Nice wine shop is very close. The hotel is basic, clean, the AC worked well. You can park right in front of your room, and the lobby has complementary water, coffee , cereal, breakfast bars. There aren't really common areas...

"My room was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. Reception staff was friendly, and very accommodating. Wish there was some hot food available for breakfast. Good selection of coffee, and hot cider was available, too. The Seasider was very conveniently located with Rtes. 3 and 233 right outside the door, making it very easy to get around the island, and going downtown in Bar Harbor. Overall wonderful experience."

"Hanscom’s is truly a gem! Our room was was clean, comfortable, and efficient. They provide coffee pods, toiletries, and basic kitchen equipment. The grounds are under renovation but the fire pit and grill area they have recently finished is awesome!
