Lidia's Mountain View

Located 10 minutes from the town center, this cozy and pleasant house offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, parking and a wonderful mountain view.(A car is not necessary but it is recommended)

 We are a family of 3 people, a mother and her two daughters, we live within the property, the house is completely independent but we are available for some consultation, we are also willing to give cooking classes or share with our guests.

The space is spacious, comfortable, warm, safe and cozy for a family of 4 people or for a couple. The house has perfect natural lighting and a beautiful view of the mountain where you can enjoy beautiful celajes and amazing rainbows.

The neighborhood is very quiet, the neighbors are friendly, next to the property there is a public park for recreation of children with swings, slides, exercise machines and more. We are less than 2 minutes from a supermarket and less than 10 minutes from the town center by car.

We really enjoyed staying there. There is really nice mountain views. Lidia and Sofia were so welcoming and friendly, we felt like we were almost like family. Their place is very homy and decorated with personal touches (nice murals done by friends, wooden pieces done by family members, cute felt birds made by friends, pillows made by friends too…). The place was big and clean. We enjoyed the delicious fruit platters. It was kid friendly and close to a lot of things. On our last day, we saw monkeys in the tree by the playground. Definitely recommend staying there.

Cute, a little rustic, just on the outskirts of town.

Lydia's was a great place for our family of four, just a bit on the rustic-cabin side, within walking distance to Santa Elena. Location felt secure with beautiful views. There are some quirks (a door that presumably led to the main house & bathroom door that didn't open all the way, typical Tico warm water shower head) but for the price and hospitality we thought it was well worth it. The wind was howling due to a cold front passing and nighttime was super windy and noisy. Kitchen was great, we cooked a couple meals there & Sophia was super accommodating and helpful. We stayed in the two bedroom family accommodation which was plenty of room for the four of us.

We loved our stay! Extremely helpful and accommodating host. Gorgeous mountain view. Fun playground for our kids while we relaxed and drank coffee. We loved our time at Lidia’s Mountain View.
