Great stay, recommended for budget minded

Great family owned hotel! Very basic but rooms are spacious. Very close to town and very walkable to all restaurants, cafes, shops & grocery. Very basic hotel but spotless. Breakfast ladies were amazing & attentive. Breakfast was table service with limited options but delicious. No air conditioning but fan in room & windows that you are able to open.

Out of a good conscience, I could not recommend this property. No coffee makers in the room no washcloths. Make shift furniture see thru curtains. Traffic noise was terrible. Felt unsafe in the building. Left for another hotel as soon I could.

Simple but great!

My husband & I come to Monteverde often to do maintenance on a property we own in the area. We are always looking for places to stay the night that are comfortable but also reasonably priced. This hotel meets both of those criteria. It’s simple, but that’s all one really needs when enjoying the nature around them in Monteverde. We had a great night of sleep. It’s also very easy to walk to great restaurants & stores. We will stay again!

All in all offered services were good. The rooms on the ground floor are a bit depressing without windows or only very small windows. Towels were washed out and no longer in good shape. The hotel is environmentally conscious and tries to save water - this is also pointed out to the customer, which is very good. Breakfast was good and the price per night was very fair.

Convenient location, good breakfast

Casa Madonna offered a convenient location close to our activities in Monteverde. We did the Santa Elena Reserve and Salvatura Adventure Park. Both were amazing and Casa Madonna worked out well. The breakfast was good. Service was friendly and helpful. The room was minimal but the beds were comfortable. It was damp /humid in a basement room, but clean. They did not supply soap in the room, so be sure to bring your own for handwashing.

This is a cute, very clean little hotel. The gal who checked us in was so friendly and kind. They allowed us to check in early to accommodate an activity we had scheduled I would definitely stay here again

Comfortable stay

We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Casa Madonna. The room was clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was limited but very good. Short but very steep walk to town center, but close to a pizza place and a soda.

We stayed at this place for two nights and we didn't have any complaints. It's situated close enough to the town center, making it easy to walk there, yet far enough to provide some peacefulness. There are some food options nearby and breakfast is provided in the dining room in the morning, which is a nice addition.

The property is clean, beds are extremely comfortable and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. The only problem is the motorcycle culture in monteverde and the proximity to the road makes it kind of noisy at night.

The room was clean and well worth the price. Parking was easy. The location is walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars and the Commercial center where there's a supermarket and more restaurants. The breakfast was included and cooked to order. Overall, it was a really great stay.
