"Motel One was a great place to stay for exploring Madrid. It’s near a couple of Metro stations and about a 20 min walk to the Sol area, where there’s tons of shopping. "Location is great, price is affordable, rooms are very small but clean. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything in the next room and the halls. The elevators are only big enough for 3 people. Beside these minor issues, the hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. It’s located across the street from the train station and 15 min walk to the Palace. I would definitely, stay here again next time I visit Madrid. "
