"Room was spacious and clean. Hotel in a quiet location and the pool was lovely with plenty of sun beds.
The breakfast was not good, hot food was cold, chipped plates and the tea was not nice.
Hotel definitely better for the Spanish and no English entertainment as advertised."
"I booked this property but I was assigned by the front desk to the sister property across the street. Hotel Playa because supposedly it was quieter. El Flamenco seems to attract young, loud, party oriented travelers. This is a family owned group of properties including a restaurant. They seem to save Hotel Playa rooms (about7-8 rooms) for guests’ overflow This review is for Hotel Playa. Both properties are old and very run down. The one thing Hotel Playa has going for it is the location facing...
"Whilst there were some great amenities at this hotel, the service was terrible. Check in took over 2 hours and our bathroom developed a leak in the ceiling. We had to ask 4 times for someone to look at it by which time the leak had spread across the ceiling and there was constant dripping. They made a hole in the ceiling at the point of the original leak but left the second area until we had complained a further twice. They removed the ceiling tile and left a bucket under it to catch the drip....
"We booked this very last minute having been evacuated from our accommodation in Alfaix due to the wildfires. From arriving to leaving Eddie could not have been more helpful. The rooms, whilst not the most luxurious, were spotlessly clean with an excellent walk in shower/bathroom, fridge and very efficient air conditioning. It’s a bit of a trek up a steep slope from where we parked our car but the views from the roof terrace were worth it. Continental breakfast was good."
