"We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Lodge! Not only was the view amazing from every angle including our balcony, but also the service was OUTSTANDING! Everyone was so kind. And the restaurant food was to die for!! Best filet mignon I've ever had - not kidding! Mr. Howard at the restaurant was also wonderful, as well as the waiters, including Enrique. What a lovely experience. We'll definitely be staying there when we visit CR again without a doubt!!"

"Wonderful property! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I liked walking the trails and the swimming pool is very warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. It's also just a very short walk into town where we ended up having all of our meals and there is a nice supermarket there as well. Everything was very convenient. We were a little disappointed that there was no mini fridge in the room. "

"If anything, the name of this hotel ('pretty view') undersells it by a long shot! On a clear day you can see the sun rise over the volcano from your balcony and the view extends to the left over all of Lake Arenal. Stunning. My mouth literally dropped open when we entered our room and the big pane window was filled with a clear view of the volcano (we were lucky to arrive on a really great visibility day!) Loved the staff, very helpful and accommodating and kind. The pool has views of both the lake and the volcano. Slight discount at the restaurant for hotel guests and complimentary breakfast. Dinner was the best casado we've had, the desserts are beautiful and delicious, and our meal was accompanied by the sweetest little pup maitre d'😍 We were only there one night, but the location was easy to get to from Arenal Observatory Lodge, and I'd stay again for sure, and have already recommended to friends."

"The restaurant was excellent because they used fresh ingredients that they grew in a garden. Excellent free sit-down breakfast. All the food tasted amazing. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with anything (e.g. tours rearrangement, transport arrangements etc.) Super eco friendly too! Great location in the town.
