"Great property in a great location for visiting Bike Park Wales. Four of us stayed at the property, with 2 vans and 4 bikes. Travelled onward from FOD, which is reasonably close if you are considering doing both. BPW is only 5-10 minutes away. Property is clean and spacious and perfectly set up for groups visiting BPW. You can get upto 3 vans parked on the driveway. The lockable bike store is alarmed and a great idea.We have stayed at the Merthyr Premier Inn in the past, but this works out...

"Overall the place worked. It was nice to be able to walk to the town. However, there is no parking on site, there is street parking only. After arriving I was notified that there was a limited amount of paper products (I think it was like 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom & 1 roll of paper towels), so you had to provide your own if you needed more. That was quite a turn off. Good thing we were only there for 2 nights! The last thing I wanna do on vacation is to shop for tp. We did not cook in...

Will stay again

"It was a lovely stay, just one night before a day at bike park wales. I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there. Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could. The room was beautifully decorated, bed comfy, shower amazing and the whole place was quiet. "

Excellent place in Pontsticill

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Brilliant stay, the staff and the owner were great very homey and warm atmosphere. Very kindly made me an early breakfast each day as I had to be up for a training course. Rooms were clean tidy and brilliantly sound proofed as I heard nothing from the bar downstairs. Great little place would highly recommend."
