The balance between the quiet, restorative atmosphere of the hotel and the vibrant energy of Uptown Charlotte outside made this stay feel complete. "This place is amazing ! We were stranded in Chicago due to terrible storms and all flights headed to the east coast were canceled . The manager here , credited the next night , when we were finally able to arrive, with our reservation from the previous night, having a complete understanding of the situation.They were so kind and hospitable to us , especially after an entire night of booking, canceling and rebooking (3 times!!) and then not having our luggage arrive. I appreciate them doing this instead of charging us for a new reservation . Very kind indeed and shows excellent and gracious public relations. "Just stay at this hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and very inviting the area was pretty OK. I will say if you were looking for a great great meal definitely check out the diner across the street. They’re 24 hours the drinks at the bar and the breakfast in the morning was great when changed nothing however I will say parking is very difficult throughout the whole entire area, so go ahead on and put that in your budget to park at the location,over all, I will stay there again."
