Her dedication to ensuring every guest had a remarkable experience was evident in every interaction. Dijana went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Her genuine care and attention to detail made a significant impact on my overall experience. In conclusion, my stay at RIU Palace Zanzibar was outstanding in every aspect. "Zoi is a very special property that feels like a luxurious home away from home. While the property is gorgeous and wonderful, it is the people that make it exceptional. The genuine kindness and desire to make your stay absolutely wonderful are memories that will stay with me forever. I will truly miss the lovely people I met at Zoi. Nice, the receptionist, goes out of her way constantly to make sure you are totally happy with your stay at Zoi. I assumed she was the manager, that is how good she is! She was handling everything as if she were the manager, from scheduling to problem solving water pressure issues to making change to overseeing staff to well, I can't think of anything she wasn't up for handling! The lovely girls who take care of the rooms make up the bed everyday with the most lovely designs using flowers and towels! It's those little extra special touches! The restaurant has wonderful food and plenty of it! The menu changes daily, although they have some staples as well. Jean, the chef, is amazing. The wait staff are so attentive but not overbearing at all. You can linger as long as you like with that beautiful ocean view. I especially enjoyed talking to Neema, she was just the sweetest! My only issue had nothing to do with the hotel, but the beach out front. It is not a great swimming beach because of the sea urchins (though you can wear shoes) and the tides are tricky. It's certainly beautiful though and makes for the most spectacular sunrises."

"Wonderful retreat. Beautifully presented, right on the beach. Calm environment, very friendly staff and owners, great food. All round excellent value and a very relaxing stay "

"We had a good time at Zanoceanique. It's a complex of rooms/apartments in a multi-story building, very spacious and well-equipped (air conditioning, wifi, refrigerator, an excellent safe). The building and furnishings appear somewhat dated (some handles don't work, some doors don't close properly), but the essential things all work well. The sea is just a few steps from the entrance, and there's a well-maintained garden with a pool inside. The food at the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced (about half the European average). The fruit, in particular, was excellent. It's possible to reach the island of Mnemba without much effort, and by sea, where you can snorkel on the beautiful reef. There are excellent small restaurants nearby (many of which you can reach by walking along the beach), so don't always eat at the hotel! We also suggest avoiding the tours offered to tourists on the beach and instead turning to the guides recommended by the hotel. The fair price for a half-day boat trip (for snorkeling or other activities) should not exceed $30 per person."

"The overall experience was great. The staff is friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the food served at Aqua, which is why I was disappointed at the food quality from Carnivorous. The food was served luke warm at best and the meats did not meet the standards one would expect from a reservations only establishment. Maybe you should take a cue from the food consumption and wastage on a night by night basis at Carnivorous."
