"This was perfect for three sailing buddies just returned from Croatia late at night who needed a simple overnight stop somewhere just 10 mins from the Gatwick North Terminal. The triple bed room, although compact, was very clean, comfortable and adequate. Cooked brekkie was very good. And all at a very low cost for accommodation and brekkie! Staff were very pkeasant. Highly recommended!!!"

"Great location, really convenient place to stay for visiting friends and being out in the city. Would stay again. Nice and clean room and well stocked. A bit of noise in the surrounding streets at night midweek but nothing much and the staircase is a bit of a hike and narrow up to the top floor but its fine."

"We have stayed at the Lawn a few times in between travelling from Canada to Spain and the UK. Each time the owners have been very helpful when we are there early for check in, with our requests for extra T bags, milk etc. Always ask if we need anything booked for our onward travels. Lovely family guest house and we have stayed in a few on Massets road, but we continue to support this one as we have found them very helpful and welcoming."

The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. "More shabby than chic, I nevertheless soon became quite enamoured of my humble little room on the first floor. These prices were often a third of the travelodge. Is Schmotel three times worse than travelodge? No it’s a different thing. I was therefore pleased that there were no ghosts or Frankensteins and no poo on the wall or ceiling, and nobody with loud and evil intent anywhere in the seven blessed rooms. "

"We were at Q Square for four nights and really made ourselves at home. The studio room was sunny and pleasant and there was enough room for the two of us.
