"The property itself was clean and well supplied. The view was spectacular and everything we expected. The major problem is that the room has zero air conditioning. When we arrived it was like walking into an oven. The only option were portable room fans. It was 80 degrees outside and felt like 90+ inside. "Our stay itself was nice for one night but we realized that this resort was in a residential kind of neighborhood and farther away from the downtown and village area - so needed to drive everywhere. The parking in the village is challenging and expensive - so I would recommend that you use hotel provided free shuttle and avoid the hassle of parking !"

Our room was very comfortable but faced the promenade which is loud in the late evenings due to the many restaurants and bars below (a room that faces the street might be more quiet). The beds were comfy. The parking was ideal."

"The Cinnamon Bear Inn is a quaint lodge that has a nostalgic feel of a time when Mammoth was a quiet town. It’s not the most glamorous or fancy, and I love it. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and the breakfast is top notch - it’s not over the top in terms of options, but it’s real food, not mass produced, and includes things like a little jar of homemade salsa for the eggs and spicy potatoes."
