"This is a great base for skiing Mammoth Mountain. The location is close to groceries, restaurants, ski shops. It is just a short drive to our favorite parking area. We did not try the shuttle. The condo is a little long in the tooth, but serves the purpose at a reasonable price. The place could use some maintenance on the heat and plumbing. "

When we arrived it was like walking into an oven. The only option were portable room fans. It was 80 degrees outside and felt like 90+ inside. "The inn is situated on a side street just around the corner from the main highway. There’s several shops and restaurants in walking distance. The property is older but the room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean but dated. I was really happy with the bed being a plush. I really dislike hard beds. They also serve a free buffet breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy but simple. Pancakes, hash browns, and eggs with some sort of corned beef bits in it. They also had cereals. OJ, milk and coffee. Actually, they have complementary coffee in the dining area/ check in area the entire day. Nice touch. The only downside was that the hot tub was being repaired so it was out of service while I was there."
