"This was my second stay at this hotel, the roof terrace has stunning views over the grand harbour, the rooms are nice, clean & comfortable beds. Staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast is good, with enough choice to suit most tastes. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the lack of choice of beers in the hotel bar, we found some excellent local beers in surrounding bars and restaurants, but only a choice of 2 beers in the hotel, both of which we didn’t like, but not really an issue as there are plenty of bars within 5 minutes walking distance. Overall a lovely hotel with great staff, a great location, within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Valletta & some great restaurants. We will certainly go back "

"Check-in by door code (we were sent this before arrival) was easy. Lovely building sympathetically modified from a Valletta townhouse. All public areas were clean and pleasing to the eye, including our room which wasn’t massive but more than adequate. The bathroom was a good size and unlike reviews I read previously, the shower did not leak and was a good size. Cleaners were thorough and replaced any towels daily. A kettle and nespresso machine were very useful, as was the hairdryer and iron, the latter provided on request from reception. There was a green emergency light on the ceiling but when I mentioned this in an Expedia review, the maintenance staff taped it so only a faint glow existed at night. Excellent, prompt service. Breakfast was continental with eggs, cheese, meats, croissants and Maltese pastries. The coffee machine was a highlight as it could be used all day, All in all a positive experience in this little hotel, centrally located in Valletta (literally a 5 minute walk to Republik Street). "

"The food at Le Cafe was very good and the price was very reasonable considering the portion size (my wife and I shared the pasta the 2nd day). Breakfast was really good too and had a lot to choose from, loved the local choices for food. "

"Great hotel and staff! We were welcomed by very friendly staff and offered Prosecco and juice upon arrival at reception. The room was clean and very spacious (double room with balcony and hot tub).There was also a complimentary bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket in the room and some sweet treats. We had already made the hotel aware that one of us was coeliac and the head chef met us each morning to take the order for breakfast. This included freshly made omelettes, pancakes with bacon, gluten free bread, muffins and pastries. The regular buffet breakfast was incredibly vast, fresh and very tasty. All tastes were catered for. We made use of the pool, sauna and spa facilities and would highly recommend a head, neck, shoulder and back massage. The staff throughout were very friendly and could not have done more. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this hotel."

"great hotel, i was on the 4th floor (underneath the terrace) and it can be a bit noisy with setting up breakfast on the 5th floor early in the morning if you are a light sleeper"
