"Our second stay here and it certainly won’t be our last. Excellent Hotel. The only thing letting it down was the lack of USB connections in the bedroom. A minor point granted. The quality of the food is fabulous! "

"We had an excellent time at Slater's and would willingly recommend a stay there to family & friends. The Staff were unfailingly helpful & friendly, and the evening meal was appreciated by all four of us. A good choice of real ales was a bonus too. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of car parking space available. The two lads were amused by the noisy and obvious sexual activity in the bathroom above Room 6. Fortunately, no water came through the ceiling. Hope the cleaning staff didn't have too much mopping up to do."

"Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms and bathroom clean. We opted to have breakfast which was good however there was no herbal tea at breakfast despite there being some in the room and there was no dairy free alternatives for milk for tea and coffee or dairy free yoghurt so I didn’t have a hot drink at breakfast. The bathroom has shower gel, hand soap, hand cream and a shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1 and towels provided. "

"Everyone we met was very friendly. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of good and drinks. Pool , steam room ; sauna , and the gym were a nice perk without additional cost. "
