"Booked this hotel for a stop over on way home to Scotland and found a hidden gem. Set in beautiful surroundings adjacent to the canal and lovely beer garden in front of picturesque pond. The buildings and interior decor were beautiful at very reasonable room rates. Very friendly efficient staff and nice food. Couldn’t fault it for anything and will defo return. "

"I liked this hotel very much. It was warm and welcoming and the staff were friendly and very helpful if you needed anything. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and cooked to perfection. The bar meals were very good to and all reasonably priced. I would most definitely stay here again as it felt like one big happy and homely place to stay.
