"We have really enjoyed our stays at Poets Cove. The amenities are great and the accommodations very comfortable for our family of 5. The property is very clean, however, it is showing its age and could definitely use a refresh. The living room furniture in our cabin was old and worn. Updated furniture would go a long way to improving the overall experience. You will be very happy as long as you are not expecting a 5 star property. Still the best resort of all the Gulf Islands, in my opinion."

The Cottage over looking Salish Sea and occasional Orca Whales

"Some places are too good to be true and this is the epitome of that. We as a couple stayed at the cottage overlooking the Salish sea with occasional orcas and from the moment we arrived our jaws dropped at the view. We brought a bunch of craft activities to keep ourselves occupied but spent most of the time in the hot tub or on the patio watching the marine traffic go by. The cabin includes everything you could need to comfortably live there. There’s a full bed in one room and a queen in a nook off the living room area - both are very comfortable and cozy. On our last evening in the hot tub, a pod of orcas surfaced just below the cabin at the edge of the cliffs giving us a front row seat in the lavender twilight. The next morning a family of deer grazed within a few feet of our car as we regrettably packed up. Worth the money, worth visiting pender island for, and a precious gem that we hope to return to each year."

"Just a Great spot for our 4 night Saturna Island 53rd anniversary celebration getaway, and great friendly prompt responses from Sue and Rob for any of our minor concerns or questions or requests. Very well equipped for all our needs and close driving access to everything we wanted to see and do when exploring. The adjacent public beach access was a bit noisy at times, otherwise 5 stars instead of 4, but the rooms inside were very comfortable quiet overall, and it was a very comfortable King size bed. Great sunset views from the deck with the new fire pit to enjoy, and also from the private beachside chairs. As a very seasoned local and world traveller I can very highly recommend Bella Haven and Sue and Rob as great hosts!"

"This is a beautiful cabin in the forest on Pender. We were treated with kindness and generousity by our host Brigette. Our dog was made to feel so welcome. Brigette helped us in any way we asked! It wasn't clear that a beach was not easily accessed. You have to get in the car to access almost anything but the nearby resort at Poet's cove. Also VRBO's add on prices just seem to be going up and up making the stay quite expensive. I hope others will benefit from this tranquil site."
