"The hosts: the best I have ever encountered in guest houses. Hospitable, friendly, generous, kind ... can't use enough words to describe how wonderful they were as hosts.The house and setting: Magical. The house is on a bluff overlooking the Salish Sea. We had planned a sunset picnic but saw no reason to leave. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and there was plenty of room in the kitchen/dining/living room area for our group.The island: we kayaked, hiked, explored, and took a boat trip ... outdoor adventures galore. The island community is amazing and all the locals we met were friendly and great to talk to.Overall: I would do this trip again in a heart beat!"

"We absolutely loved our visit to Pender Island. The east suite is lovely and the patio with the hot tub overlooking the water and the distant islands is totally worth the price of admission! The suite was modestly supplied with the most necessary items. It would have been even better with a more robust area guide. The lack of some cozier touches (playing cards, board games, or info about the area) is the only thing this beautiful piece of the world lacked. We also have never encountered the policy about “removing all your own garbage.” We leave everything neat and clean always, but usually there is a trashcan or somewhere to place the small amount of trash from our visit. Maybe that is more typical on an island but not something that we had been familiar with - and a very minor inconvenience."

"The cottage was immaculately clean. Brigitte was a perfect host who made herself easily available to us to answer any questions about the place and suggestions of services on Pender Island. The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the basics. The beds were comfortable. There were lots of puzzles, books, games and pamphlets and maps about the Island. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay"
