"Stayed 4 nights while catching up with family members staying nearby. Comfortable and friendly, good breakfast choices and flexible times. Glad there wasn't a heatwave as it would probably get quite hot - it's old so not air-conditioned and the room was under the eaves. Convenient for Henley, Wallingford and walks in Cotswold AONB, Ridgeway etc. Pretty area. Brakspears beer very tasty."

Before I booked, I knew it was a small room and to be fair, I was offered to pay a little bit more to upgrade, but the room had everything I needed and I didn’t care it was small. "I saw lots of complaints on reviews but gave it a chance as it was very cheap. Basically - you get what you pay for, and a bit more. For £45 - £20 deposit I got a reasonable room with coffee making facilities and very good service. I would stay again as it was so cheap and really friendly staff. Many thanks"
