"The location of this hotel is so beautiful! It’s in a more rural part of Maine. The hotel had bikes and kayaks that we could use. We used the bikes and it was really fun to ride into town and get some food and do some shopping. We also enjoyed using the pool, hot tub and sauna and outdoor lawn games. The staff was very friendly and helpful!"

"What a wonderful place! We loved hearing about the history of the home. The home and grounds are so beautiful. We loved having our window open during the nigbt and hearing the sound of the water fountain outside. The innkeepers Ginny and Lori were so welcoming and hospitable and made our stay so delightful. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We only wished we had planned to stay longer. Next time for sure."

"Great house, even larger than it looks in the photos, and immaculately clean. The kitchen is fantastic, with two drip coffee makers, a microwave, countertop toaster oven/air fryer, gas stove and oven, and an extra-large refrigerator and freezer. There are basic pans and plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs and utensils. Only salt, pepper and cooking spray are provided, so bring any other staples. Paper goods, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, a washer and dryer are all included.The bedrooms are spacious, bright and have good closet and dresser space. One important note: both beds listed as queens are actually full-size beds. That did not matter to us, but if you need a true queen, it is not hiding under the sheets! Portable AC units and fans are provided in every bedroom and the living room, although opening the windows on the water side worked even better.The best features are the enclosed back porch and outdoor porch, both perfect for slow mornings, relaxed afternoons and enjoying the beautiful water views. Despite being in a campground, it was incredibly quiet day and night.A wood-chip path and stairs lead to the rocky and pebble beach, where you can wade, explore tide pools or swim. The water is cold, and there are no lifeguards, so use good judgment. Moose Point State Park is right next door with lovely hiking trails. Belfast is nearby, and Hannaford is less than 10 minutes away. A beautiful, peaceful and comfortable spot for a relaxing Maine vacation!"

"This house is in an excellent setting on an arm of the Penobscot Bay, with water views from living area, kitchen and dining room. There is also a large deck that faces the water. It is in a quiet, almost rural area, but with other houses nearby. The first place we have stayed where the house was better than the pictures. Lots of space inside and outside for enjoying your time here."

"We loved our stay! We were in the area for our daughter’s wedding at the Belvedere House and Gardens. This was a perfect home base as it is less than a mile from the venue so we could easily pop back and forth. It was clean, dog-friendly and had AC so the temperature was comfortable. The owners were very accommodating and had great communication. Thank you!"

"Excellent location for us visiting family in Searsport. Walking distance to the grocery store, shops, and the water! Parking was easy. Kitchen is great. Communication was outstanding. Home is older and a bit rustic, but full of charm."

"This property was a great place for our extended family of 6 adults a 7 year old and an 11 month old. Plenty of space indoor and outside and many amenities.Beautiful scenery, adorable house and a host who was accommodating and on top of things. Close to quaint towns and shops but privately situated on beautiful property. We felt right at home and all plan to return to this lovely home."
