"For being an older motel, you can tell the owners really made it cute. My only suggestion would be more comfortable mattresses, but everything else was great! It had a cute older charm to it and that is what we were looking for. It was affordable and breakfast was nice. Good location. We stayed to catch the CAT ferry in Bar Harbor."

"We were glad to find a place in August where we could stay for just one night—and not a drab anywhere, but a clean, comfortable room with lovely views of the water, a refreshing pool, and a quick drive into Belfast for dinner. (Shout out to Dos Gatos!) It was a hot, humid day, and we had walked around and also biked, so the pool was a perfect refresher for us all. We were up and out the next morning, so didn’t have breakfast."

"The room was clean and very comfortable with a great view of the harbor. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have had in any hotel. It was quiet and well maintained. Definitely recommend and would stay there again if in the area!"

"The house was clean and had all the amenities. The ocean view was awesome. While sitting on the deck we got to see a whale. That was great. It's very private and quite. I give it a 10. Ten being no complaints . I recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit Maine."

"What a beautiful and roomy apartment the Captain’s Quarters are! Rick and Violet are wonderful hosts. I had to reach out when we first arrived because I didn’t quite follow the directions (lol), and Rick was there within two minutes to assist us!The apartment was spacious, comfortable, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for our stay. We truly felt right at home. The location was perfect for enjoying Searsport and exploring the beautiful Maine coast, while still giving us a peaceful place to come back to at the end of the day.Rick and Violet clearly take great pride in the Captain’s Quarters, and their hospitality made our stay even more special. We made some wonderful memories during our time in Maine and are so glad this was the place we chose to call “home” while we were there.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Captain’s Quarters to anyone visiting the Searsport area!"
