"A clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel with easy access to the centre of Lerici. The hotel has a pleasing view of the harbour, a great breakfast buffet, and the free parking was very welcome. The decoration is a tad dated, but it is all to a good standard and relaxing. I want to give a special nod to the catering staff who managed the breakfasts as well as the cleaning staff--they were very friendly and accommodating. Our only minor quibble was that the front desk staff could be a bit brusque...

We would have liked to use the beach; unfortunately that was impossible due to tides, waves, and the very narrow strip of actual sandy beach. "Quadruple room was too small even for 1 person. We stayed in much bigger and better hotel in nearby La Spezia for half the price. Also the description was misleading, it said 2 double beds and 2 single beds, while it actually was 1 double bed (which is for 2 people) and 1 bunk bed. Check in was cumbersome as they couldn't explain in clear English that that room can actually take 4 people, also the room reeked tobacco smoke (though they changed it after).
