"This was a wonderful stay! Loved the Viking theme. Room was perfect size bed and pillows were very comfortable! Food at the Viking restaurant was fantastic !! But we were a little disappointed with the breakfast I think we were expecting a feast befitting a viking lol"

"Really central, great location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Opt for the nicer rooms tho ~ we had one deluxe that viewed the harbor, which was excellent, and two that were cheaper...they were both very small and had issues with the shower design (got whole bathroom floor wet). The lobby bar and breakfast area were lovely. Would def stay here again."

"I stayed here with my sister and we loved our stay! We were in Reykjavik for only one day and Midgardur made it really welcoming. They gave us a free drink voucher upon arrival and a breakfast pass as well which was delicious. We were able to try the spa and it was serene! Also very close to the shopping street, super walkable to shops & food! This is my second time staying here after visiting with my boyfriend a couple years ago and I would definitely stay here again! "
