"Fosshotel Reykjavik was a really nice property. Our room was clean, a bit small, but clean and very quiet. My only suggestion would be a shelf in the shower to put your toiletries on. I had to put them on the floor and it was not convenient. The mattress was a bit too firm causing me pain but for the most part, the hotel was great. The included breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want! I would definitely stay again if I’m lucky enough to return to Iceland! Oh and the bus stop for the tours was right outside the door of the hotel! Super convenient! "

"The staff could not have been nicer! So patient with us. We had purchased alcohol, duty free, at the airport, as advised. When we arrived our room refrigerator did not work. We discovered that there was NO ice machine in the hotel except at the bar. To ice our beer and drinks we had get it from the bar. The frig was never fixed but we were comped several meals at the restaurant. We were told we used more ice than the entire rest of the hotel. Ha Ha. As I said the entire staff was very nice and took care of us without complaint. Thank you. "

"This was a lovely, modern hotel situated in a quieter part of the city but easily walkable to the centre. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The breakfast was also tasty with a good selection of items to choose from. Overall, i was very impressed and would stay here again. "
