"We enjoyed this hotel immensely and highly recommend it! This hotel has a wonderful breakfast with a wide selection of food options to suit everyone's tastes and with a beautiful view of the beachfront. Free parking was across the hotel entrance with a huge area to park. We did daily day trips to explore Crete, and there were always parking spots available when we returned at the end of the day. We chose this hotel due to the beautiful views from the balconies, the cleanliness, and the parking. We easily would walk for a leisurely walk into Old Town in 15 minutes. Even taking a taxi was very cheap which we did on way back one evening. The rooms were modern, clean and towels changed every day. The front desk staff were so polite and catered to all of our needs. The owner Mr, Stelios also greeted us and took us to our rooms and explained how the air conditioner worked, where all the amenities were. We enjoyed seeing him everyday! Their pool is amazing, and the pool deck with a beautiful beachfront view had an amazing bar for drinks and food. The bar person is very nice and works hard getting drinks and food ready for your order. Loved the pool area with the sun loungers and perfect views! This hotel will not disappoint at all. We had our two sons and their girlfriends with us, so we had 3 rooms in total and everybody enjoyed Archipelogos hotel. We surely would stay here when we go back to Rethymnon. We had an awesome stay! "Amazing experience overall. Great check in, great room, great space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Cold bottle of wine, fruit and water in the fridge and amazing breakfast. Staff also supper friendly. One of the best bookings I’ve made on hotels.com for my family (who tend to be picky) "

"A fabulous villa for several reasons.The owner Emma and her parents whose home this was, were exceptional hosts. Emma communicated directly with us from start to finish by WhatsApp or SMS. We were greeted on arrival with a home made Greek pasta dish which lasted us 2 days! Any questions we had were answered promptly and effectively. Emma is very conscientious. They changed the bed linen and gave the villa a clean twice in a fortnight. The villa itself was exactly as described and even better! We appreciated the veranda area which is huge, and can be isolated from the pool area by a lockable gate. There is plenty of play things for children of all ages. The pool was not cold and extremely well maintained with daily cleaning. AC worked well, used at night. The BBQ house is enormous and kitted out with everything needed including a fridge and washing facilities plus toilet. It was lovely to hear the bells tinkling on the sheep on the hillside around the villa. It’s only a few minutes to local shops by car but you feel as if you are in rural Crete. The views from the veranda especially the sunset in June magnificent. Not may mosquitos in the evenings either. It’s a good position as plenty of lovely places to see and it’s not far to cross to the south side of the island from the villa. "

"The photos do not do the villa justice as the views are amazing and is very private. We were two families with teenage children and it accommodated us all well. Lots of space and well equipt. Myron met us as we arrived and was on hand if needed when we messaged him. Would highly recommend the villa to anyone. Great taverna down the road who welcomed us like family and amazing food at very good prices. You do need a car as is remote but well located to visit the local towns. "

"We wanted a place to call home for the days we were on Crete. Vigla Suites was conveniently located in the central part of the island. The apartment felt like living in a home, not a hotel, for our days on the island. The space was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. I already told them we will book with them again when we return to Crete."
