"The hotel is great when you’re traveling for business. The gym is small and feels crowded with 3 people there. I was there on business and many other people were too, so the gym was always full."

"This is an outstanding property and the pictures are 100% accurate. The pool is amazing and easy to operate. The outdoor bar area has an outstanding natural gas BBQ and mini fridge for food or drinks by the pool. The kitchen and the appliances are all high end. The outdoors furniture was all very comfortable and you can tell good quality items were purchased. Unknown to us prior to arrival, shampoo, body wash and conditioner was available in each bathroom. They were name brand (dove, Pantene, etc) The few minor issues, most of the windows are solid and don't open. This means the beautiful breeze doesn't really make it into the house. The rooms could really benefit from ceiling fans to move air. The AC air flow varied by room. Some of the rooms did not have light switches when you entered, you needed to go to a lamp inside the room to get light. This was only an issue for the little kids. An FYI, the game area in the garage is not attached to the house. It is a stand alone building about 50 ft from the front door. This was a small inconvenience with the little kids because someone had to be with them out there. The house and garage are roughly 300 ft from the road so there is no concern with little one wandering into the street. The street is also a very quiet cul-de-sac. We would 100% book this house again for a family trip but I could also see booking it for an adult getaway."

"Such a lovely little spot. My wife and I chose to stay at the Hilltop Cabin after a few nights in Escondido. We wanted to get out of the city and closer to nature. The cabin and the area around it did not disappoint. The cabin was very comfortable and the host's garden was spectacular. We love birding and there were so many birds to watch from the balcony of the cabin! It was the perfect place sit and watch the evening take over the valley. Frog calls and two separate packs of coyotes howling. The bed was very comfortable and the morning balcony show was as engaging as the previous evenings'. It really was the perfect little spot to get away from the more urban parts of Southern California. The goats were super cute."
