"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"Stayed here for 2 nights and what a fabulous sanctuary, we know the town well from numerous day trip but wanted to stay overnight to see the beautiful lace go to sleep and wake up. The hotel is right in the middle of Saint Martin but so far away from the tourist throng. It is amazing, so chic and comfortable, the garden with pool is so quiet,the owner so friendly and if you stay you must have drinks in the tower, what views"

"We found Cote Ocean online after spending a night at the nearby Ibis Hotel. It was perfect, our own little apartment in a laid back beach community a short drive South of La Rochelle. Our hosts there were very nice, easy to deal with and helpful with suggestions about the nearby area. We hope to return the next time we visit France."

"Séjour de 3 jours entre copains, mais parfait pour un séjour en famille. La maison est grande avec 7 lits. Une vie de plein pied est possible et il y a grand espace exterieur pour des parties de molki interminables, une piscine et un coin repas avec barbecue idéale pour des fins de journées autour d'un apéro et d'un bon repas. La plage est à 10 minutes à pieds, le centre du village et ses commerces (boulangerie, épicerie, tabac, bar et resto) à 5 minutes. Lieu agréable et sympathique à l'image...

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "

Wonderful stay
"We loved this hotel, authentic with a rock/pop twist. We stayed in the Beatles room, which is up the spiral staircase and for 4 people. The main room has a huge king size bed with separate doors through to the 2 single beds. All staff we met were lovely and friendly. Lovely courtyard area for relaxing/ eating. Walking distance to all the sites and shops. We would definitely return. "
