"Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. The front desk does speak/understand English (surprisingly rare in Istanbul). Location is fantastic: in front of a restaurant hub, close to a train station to seaside. Front desk recommended a memorable night cruize (8pm-12am) with very local shows " Ottoman cruize"."

"We checked out a half an hour after checking in. The hotel is in a bad part of the city. We were willing to deal with that after arriving, but once we got up to the room it was absolutely filthy with zero amenities. Dirty sheets and mold in the bathroom was just the beginning. We booked another hotel in Sultanahmet from our phones and immediately left. After alerting expedia about our non-existent stay, they contacted the Sirin Gold to issue a refund and they refused.
