"This place is very nice. The staff is extremely kind and all of them seemed genuinely happy. The food was some of the best I have ever had. To put more perspective, we ate at a Michelin star restaurant in Amsterdam a few days before arriving in Morrocco. The chef at the Riad Dar Alfarah could easily hold her own against a Michelin star chef, it was that good. We ordered the Lamb and the Moroccan Pastilla. "

"The most beautiful stay. The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome and were so attentive to our every need. We really felt so at home. The riad itself is stunning, the detail and design is breathtaking and completely clean. Our room was tidied and refreshed daily. The breakfast was amazing and massive! Loved trying lots of different traditional bits. For the last day, I wasn’t very well so breakfast was brought to my room at around 3pm! Would recommend to anyone. "

"Not a true riad...no garden, no open area to the roof, only a very small fountain in the eating area. There were no management members on premises and when I attempted to check out it took over 1 hour to straighten out a bill (with the help of Hotels.com) as I had already prepaid the entire stay but the workers there said I only paid a small deposit. "My 3rd time in Marrakec -Horrible experience! 1. We got a very small and very dark room with a small window facing some back ruins while our friends got a room which was twice bigger, brighter, with a nicer bathroom and view for the same price. When we approached the front desk lady to find out if she made a mistake she offered that we pay more for an upgrade instead of paying us back for a room that we obviously overpaid for.
