"Kyogijin is a lovely house not far from the centre of the city. We found it easy to walk to most places and there is accessible public transport close by. The house is fully equipped with anything you may need and there are a lot of English labels to assist with using things like the washing machine and lights. We appreciated having a portable WI FI, as we took it with us when out sightseeing."

"This place was perfect for the 3 of us. Lots of room to relax and a great bath. The interior design and Japanese room made the stay feel very Kyoto and the room has a bunch of natural light. Location is amazing, only a few steps to Nishiki market, there were a ton of great local food options really close and a little further to the bus stop. Only issue I had was they sent the check in instructions in Japanese so I missed that we needed to check in at a different location. I'm not sure how...

"Very expensive area, restaurants are limited if you are looking for a cheaper meal. Staff are very nice and room is very nice. Not much transportation nearby, but fairly close to some attractions. "

"The area around the hotel is filled with shops and restaurants. Convenience stores are also nearby. The only downside was that the train station was a bit of a walk in a crowded area in the afternoon with luggage. It was fine for morning departure. However, did have to walk to a major street for taxi access. "
