"Hotel is close to 3 train lines and only 2 changes from Kyoto station. The rooms are small but this is Japan so I did not have a problem with that. It’s very well run and the rooms and facilities were well kept. Only thing would be for the housekeepers once a week to wipe down the desk and the top of the tv because it had a lot of dust on it. "

"This hotel is wonderful. I was amazed of how beautiful this property is. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and nice. Staff welcoming, speak very well English. They allowed storage of luggage while we already check out to explore furthermore of the city. Location was a distance walk from train station and buses. 22 minute walk. Probably will reconsider in future our next stay while it can be a distance from transit and train station."

"Nice and handy, 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Between Higashiyama Honganji and Nishi Honganji. Close to Karasuma Dori and Gojo Dori for buses and subway. Room was very nice and perfect for one or 2 people. Staff were very welcoming."

"Like the cafe/bar in the basement. The 2 buildings across the street from each other makes it a bit inconvenient, for instance, to get to the kitchen from hostel room if they are located in different buildings. Otherwise, clean, nice, comfortable."

"-6/10 -Hotel was walking distance from the day and night life parts of Kyoto. -Lots of parking around the hotel of you decide to rent a car. -Hotel has two washers and 2 dryers. Some vending machines and one Indian restaurant in front and two Japanese bars. -had the 7 floor, view was okay. -A little bigger than your average Japanese hotel room. -only “concern” was that my room was clean however, it looked like they didn’t clean the corners or under the bed. -seemed like they only clean the...
