"Great size and love the decks and the view! Suggestions: Better beds in the sleep out! Particularly the bunk beds!!! The ladder fell and almost hit one of the kids who was sleeping in the double bed. Because it’s a sleep out, all of the beds should be a series of bunk beds instead of the two double and queen beds. "The Lookout was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the location, and the view over the ocean was pure magic. The property was secluded and it had everything we needed. Cleanliness could have been slightly better but this didnt hinder our stay. We would definitely come back!"

"This is a great location in Tairua. We had the two bedroom upstairs villa which is a little dated. Huge main bedroom and ensuite. The second bedroom was combined with a lounge so nowhere really to sit for a chat without being in with the kids. The kitchen was really just a couple of cupboards and a bar fridge. But all was very clean, beds comfortable, great location. The managers were lovely. We will stay again."

"I'd say it's a nice place, but they should clearly state that even if you book a room there won't be any blankets or towels. This is extra. I've never heard ablut that. We needed to pay for that extra.. Also the service lady said she'd soo kind to come back to give it to us, which was odd in that situation. Besides that, still a nice place to stay, but in winter it's not the warmest in the rooms."
