"This is a great property. While the facility is clearly older, it is very well maintained and even gives a cool retro vibe. We stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer. Everything in the area is walkable including this location. The heated blankets were a nice touch and the studio that we were in had dishes and a full kitchen set up. Very clean and all around comfortable! Instructions were clear and it was a great stay overall."

"Family break in lovely Pauanui. Motel is in a great location near to shops/restaurants and short walk to beach or mini golf. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Facilities are good….lovely pool area and tennis court and new games room. Would be happy to return. Carole is lovely…made us and our dog Dexter very welcome."

"This is a great location in Tairua. We had the two bedroom upstairs villa which is a little dated. Huge main bedroom and ensuite. The second bedroom was combined with a lounge so nowhere really to sit for a chat without being in with the kids. The kitchen was really just a couple of cupboards and a bar fridge. But all was very clean, beds comfortable, great location. The managers were lovely. We will stay again."

"I'd say it's a nice place, but they should clearly state that even if you book a room there won't be any blankets or towels. This is extra. I've never heard ablut that. We needed to pay for that extra.. Also the service lady said she'd soo kind to come back to give it to us, which was odd in that situation. Besides that, still a nice place to stay, but in winter it's not the warmest in the rooms."
