"The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning."

"Excelente como siempre"

"Room was clean and we loved the balcony. Great for watching the sunset. Beds were a little hard for my liking but we were exhausted after running all day so we still slept fine lol. A/C was great after being out in the heat. The hotel is beach front and a short walk to the main street for shopping. Gustavo was so awesome. "Cleanliness and good location"

"Everything"

"No nos gustó la habitación. Algo menos que aceptable. El frigorífico no funcionaba, las ventanas no tenían mosquiteras, No era un sitio cómodo y agradable para estar. Pero la parte común, nos gustó mucho. Piscina e instalaciones limpias, bien cuidado y un buen servicio."

"Location!!!!"

"The only good thing about this property is the location. I had a private room. The room looked good when you first enter and it has AC. However, the wifi did not work in my room, only the common area. When I was about to go to bed, I noticed there were ants crawling all over the two beds! There were ants also in the bathroom. I tired to contact the concierge (which are just people in their 20’s working there) but they clock out at 11pm. "

"Super clean room, great location. Central to everything. Music is loud until two in the morning, but it’s a party town so kind of expecting that. I would stay there again."

"Clean room"

"Great place near the beach and good price"

"La estancia es buena, el lugar aceptable para ir con niños, la comida es rica. La mayoría del personal es amable aunque algunas personas no fueron amables"

"Mar De Luz is always lovely. The staff always wonderful and the grounds are a tropical garden with beautiful birds and flowers. Close to the beach and everything in Jaco."
