"The location of the property is prime for walking around downtown Napa and for enjoying the river front. The greenery and potted plants surrounding the hotel are beautiful & well maintained. There are many good restaurants, wine bars, and boutique shops within a 2-3 block radius of the hotel. The hotel is quite large, the lobby is small but pretty, and the well-appointed rooms are nicely sized. At this price point (~$500/night) and location, however, I would have expected a complementary beer/wine/cheese Happy Hour reception daily in the lobby or on the back patio, and complimentary hot coffee/tea available in the lobby each morning. Neither were offered. Instead one receives a $10/pp voucher for breakfast at the next-door bakery or the option of a small basket of bakery items delivered to your hotel room. Neither were particularly satisfactory. The only other negative comment was the lack of sufficient water pressure in the shower. We stayed 3 nights and it did not improve during that time. Friends staying in 2 other rooms confirmed the lack of water pressure. All in all it is a lovely property, I just expected a little more "boutique luxury" at that nightly rate."
