"It is a good location and close to the train station. The Kyoto shopping mall has excellent food in the basement and about 2km away. The Zen garden outside of the window is nice. The washing machine is useful. Hiroshi in the front desk is very helpful and excellent! We really appreciate him! Thank you "

But do remember to make some research about Japanese lifestyle in a washitsu room before coming ;) Staff all speak good English. Very helpful and polite. Price stable throughout the year and the room size is just ideal compared with the 12-15sqm rooms offer by other hotels in the similar area at a similar price. Close to subway and bus stations, traffic is good, some tourist sites like the Royal Garden...

"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "
