"This was a great value and a great place to start our Iceland adventure. The friendly staff greeted us with lots of information and a smile. "We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport. "

"Lovely and cozy stay. The cabin has everything you need to relax. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the horses and property. There was also a kitty whom was just the sweetest!! A great place to relax and unwind. Please note there are no TV’s in the cabin(GOOD!) and the horses don’t directly come to your door but only 20ft behind an electric fence. If I had but a minor criticism it’s check-in. I felt silly that I walked up to Mr.Iceland’s house but he was out…maybe have a small sign to advise to...

"Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay. "

"We booked a room mistakenly one day late than we needed. When I found it out one day before our check in time, we were not able to make the change because it passed the free cancellation deadline. So we booked another room. Upon our arrival, the staff found our situation and agreed to give full refund for the mistakenly booked room without our asking. He was super nice and helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. We appreciated it truly. "
