"Very friendly and eager to please staff. Ongoing renovations are taking too long. Renovations should include tile, wood, or wood-like flooring, rather than the (new) carpeting in place. Definitely a pleasant place to stay, at reasonable pricing."

"Rooms were very clean staff was very polite and answered any questions that we had about where stuff was and some places if you DoorDash will deliver right to your room "

"Everyone was so nice and attentive. The only thing that does need improvement is the morning continental breakfast. No orange juice or the breakfast sandwich also no fruit. All I was able to get at 6:30am was yogurt, coffee and cereal. It was not good but other than that everything else was good. Thank you to everyone for making my stay good. I will be back soon."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Hammondsport. The hotel is clean and new and clearly well maintained and run. We tried out most of the amenities - the breakfast, pool, nightly firepits. The daily breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I have enjoyed and the ladies who managed it were so helpful and kind. The pool was great fun for the kids and the firepits were an unexpected plus. The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating. The hotel is a little outside of town, but just a short drive or a long but manageable walk. The town is adorable. Our room and bathroom were clean and the fixtures were or in perfect condition. All in all, a great place to stay!"

"The pictures online and what you will encounter are on completely different ends of the spectrum. There seems to be a homeless shelter operating on certain floors of the hotel. The hotel stay served it purpose, we will not go back."
