"I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel with my two dogs. I was offered a room outside of the main building which was very convenient for me, with having my dogs. The room overall was clean, comfortable and nicely presented. Having a walk on the doorstep for the dogs was very convenient. My only negative observations was that the toilet seat was loose and there was a damp Patch where paint was peeling in one of the window recesses. "Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"We stayed over following a wedding in Basingstoke. The Hotel was cheaper than a Travel lodge and certainly better than the aforementioned. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you for a great stay. "

"Travelling for work I booked a single room for less than the local Travelodge. The grounds and main hotel are lovely and it was a delight to see the deer, ducks and other wildlife on the grounds. The room itself was away from the main building but was recently decorated, clean and welcoming.
