"Arrived with a greeting from the staff, they were very attentive and made our stay feel very welcome, Food was excellent and the bar staff were great, very friendly and polite, service was excellent. Parking was really good with a closed off packing area with a barrier to stop anyone unwelcome coming in. Great stay, Thank you"
The Mitre, Hampton Court

"Stayed at the Mitre years ago, it has been renovated and was so much nicer. Room was clean as was the bathroom, I wasn’t keen on the toiletries that were in the bathroom, but I usually travel with my own anyway. There was a/c in my room and considering the whether it was very welcomed. I was given an upgrade to a room that overlooked the river which was very nice. Only one complaint was the Service in the Restaurant that overlooked the river and the Cooked Breakfast which was not as nice as I remember when I stayed before. They now serve Streaky Bacon which was very fatty, they used to serve Back Bacon, I ordered one egg but got two both over cooked, hash browns which were like the ones you buy at the supermarket. I’m sure they were fresh potatoes cut into cubes cooked with onion, before. You seem to have to serve yourself to coffee, tea and juice at the buffet unlike a server that used to comes to the table. The Restaurant seemed a lot smaller as was the Buffet. As a senior I prefer to have a server bring everything to me as I do have a bad wrist and worried I would drop something. I had paid in advance for the Breakfast but decided to go elsewhere to eat my last morning. Other than that I enjoyed my stay which is right opposite Hampton Court Palace and the paths that you can walk along the river. You can catch boats that take you up the river and I think you can hire small boats at the Mitre. Nice restaurants, pubs also close by."

"We had a wonderful time at Lensbury. Special shout out to William on reception, who is always welcoming and friendly. Gabriel in the Dunbar Lounge was so so polite and engaging. Muhammed on night time reception was eager to help and eager to please. Lou, one of the night time staff members, was sweet and polite. The world cup was playing in the garden and was organised very well. Any minor technological issues were addessed and resolved promptly. We had a lovely stay and will be back soon!"
