"This was one of the best VRBO's we've stayed at & we travel a lot! Tara & Steve thought of everything! The place is very private, like your own little oasis. It's decorated so cute. Lots of attention to detail. Easy to find on GPS. Nice sitting area with TV. Could be used as a second bedroom. There are privacy curtains. The bed was very comfy. Plenty of pillows. Lots of space to hang clothes plus plenty of drawers for clothes. Nice bedside tables with drawers also. The bathroom was great. Shower pressure perfect. Double sinks with plenty of light. There were lotions, sunscreen, bug spray, body wash, shampoo, conditioner. The kitchenette is small but ample for microwave dinners. The fridge is compact but has a freezer. There's a coffee maker & water filtration system. They provide a cooler, beach chairs, games, they have it all! There is no AC but the ceiling fans & Woozoo fan were plenty. It's nice & cool at night. They also provide ear plugs if you don't care for the coqui frogs. They can get pretty loud but they were music to our Midwestern ears. It's also 3 blocks from lava cliffs with some awesome views & waves. Down the street a piece is Maku'u Point that's a definite place to visit. Lots of great places to eat in Kea'au & Pahoa. Tara has a detailed handbook with places to go & eateries! Highly recommend staying with Tara & Steve. They are right upstairs & available. Such great hosts! Thanks for having us! Mahalo!"

"Clean room, very spacious bedroom & living area, two pull out sofa beds, air conditioning units worked quickly to cool room, big walk-in shower with nice shower heads, easy to find, parking easy & even a sign with our name on it so we knew we were in the right place, very quiet neighborhood, gated property, host instructions and response were great."

"Beautiful house, great pool, comfortable beds, great kitchen, there is a lot of left over condiments and seasonings to use. Love the extra long dining table. Google Maps was slightly off when giving directions to the house so make sure to double check the house number. Was a rainy week which made the cement outside very slippery, one of our Ohana fell and was bruised pretty bad. Having a remote for the gate was so nice and convenient! If I would recommend something; change out the rattan window and glass door covers with something else, you can see right through them at night which provided zero privacy for the bedrooms and the bathrooms which we discovered in a very embarrassing way. "

"Our stay was wonderful. A nice relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful. Air conditioning is only in the bottom half of the house. The house was very comfortable. My only suggestion is to bring purified water for the coffee maker. We were unable to make coffee the first evening and next morning until we bought some. One of the nicest VRBO properties I have stayed in. Thank you!"
